I have always loved the world of fashion and worked within the industry in my early twenties.   My career has spanned over twenty years and as well as fashion I have been involved in the pressured world of hospitality, combining my design and people skills to setup and manage several successful, local restaurants and bars.

More recently, I became a mum for the first time with twin girls.  This was not an easy transition for me, actually it was a big shock to the system! I found myself completely stuck, feeling un-attractive and lacking confidence.   Believe me I can truly relate to mums wanting to regain their confidence and identity.  It was at this point the penny dropped, so to speak!  The way I dressed made such a difference to how I looked and ultimately felt about myself.

As soon as I was able to claim back a little time to myself, my goal was set!  I wanted to help other women gain more confidence through style.  After completing an intensive training course at the NHJ Style Academy, founded by Nicky Hambleton-Jones, celebrity stylist and television presenter, I started to put the wheels in motion.

Being stylish is not as simple as spending vast amounts of money on designer brands and keeping up with trends.  In fact, inexpensive clothes can be worn with style as long as you know how to make the most of your natural features.  Equally, expensive clothes will look completely unstylish if they are not right for you.  I remember finding a long, flowing, teal-coloured dress at a charity shop.  I pinned a pretty, chiffon rose to it and wore it to a local society event.  I received so many compliments that evening and was asked where it had come from.  I took great satisfaction in replying: “Not sure – it cost me £10 from the local charity shop!”

My aim is to inspire you to become the woman you have always wanted to be but weren't quite sure how, while all the time taking you at your pace so you feel comfortable and enjoy the transformation process!
